Aira is a fast growing digital agency based in the centre of Milton Keynes. We’re currently looking for a Web Project Manager to join our team. You will be joining an experienced yet young company at an exciting stage of growth and will be given the opportunity to grow in your role and get hands-on with projects from day one.

We’re looking for an experienced web project manager with at least 2 years’ experience in delivering fast paced web projects on multiple frameworks.

 

About the role

 

  • Working with the sales team to adequately scope out and cost new projects
  • Working with clients and internal teams to understand and define client requirements
  • Developing watertight design and development briefs
  • Creating strict but realistic project plans and scheduling in individual tasks for each delivery phase
  • Managing our development team to ensure smooth project delivery, managing scope changes whilst keeping documentation and clients / internal teams up to date
  • Ensuring that deliverables are properly tested and delivered to the best possible standard
  • Working on and improving Aira’s technical delivery processes

 

About you

 

This role requires someone who can strike a balance between having fantastic client and communication skills, but at the same time have strong and efficient project management expertise. In addition to this, you’d need to understand the technical needs of websites whilst being empathetic to the user journey and understanding how to best achieve conversions via website landing pages. Essentially, you will be managing the delivery of multiple web projects at once – co-ordinating the whole process from concept, design, site build, communications, testing and go live.

 

We’re looking for someone with the following:

 

  • A minimum of 2 years experience managing web builds of varying complexities
  • The ability to adapt project management style according to project requirements – waterfall or agile
  • A great communicator at all levels, internally and externally (teams and clients)
  • A superb project manager with proven experience in efficient web project management – projects correctly scoped and launched on time and within budget
  • Commercially savvy and able to understand how to keep projects profitable
  • A quick thinking problem solver, able to remove any blockers that arise and find resolutions to issues
  • Able to manually update and upload data and site content
  • A good eye for detail, able to efficiently QA check content and functionality
  • Ability to effectively train clients and colleagues on various CMS

 

It would be a bonus if:

 

  • You have working knowledge of a programming language or two!

The salary range for this role is £25,000 – £35,000 DOE
