Business Development Executive

Aira is a fast-growing digital agency based in the centre of Milton Keynes. We’re looking for a business development executive with a track record of qualifying, pitching and closing new business opportunities. You will be joining an organisation at an exciting stage of growth and will be given the opportunity to develop in your role and get hands-on with projects from day one.

About the role


You will:

  • Qualify inbound leads
  • Build relationships and network with prospects to generate new business
  • Identify challenges that our potential customers face and discover the best solutions for their business
  • Work with the leadership teams to pitch to prospective clients
  • Consistently close new business
  • Work with the marketing team to improve inbound & outbound lead generation
  • Be responsible for submitting tender applications
  • Help shape the business development function within Aira

About you


You’ll have at least one year of experience behind you in business development and will have worked directly on a range of sales activities where you’ve owned new business generation from initial outreach and nurturing through to pitch and close.

We’re looking for someone with the following:

  • Minimum one year’s experience in a business development role
  • Are familiar with various lead qualification tactics
  • Track record of being a consistent high-performer
  • Proficient in CRM usage – preferably HubSpot
  • Have excellent presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills both in person, over the phone and email
  • A focus on hitting targets and achieving goals

It would be a bonus if:

  • You are familiar with Salesforce, SugarCRM, Pipedrive or other CRM
  • You have worked at a digital agency or at least know a bit about digital and inbound marketing
  • You know Excel or Google Sheets really well and are comfortable with data

Salary range for this role is £23,000 – £30,000 (£40,000 OTE)
