Code of conduct
MKGO aims to continue being a relaxed, educational, enjoyable and inclusive event. That’s why we’ve created this code of conduct, to ensure that you – our attendees – can have a great time, network and learn from the industry’s best without fear of harassment, discrimination or other unwelcome attention.
We won’t tolerate any form of harassment (including digital abuse) towards delegates, exhibitors, organisers or speakers.
Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate at the conference.
Anyone breaking these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers.
Harassment includes (but is not limited to):
Offensive verbal or online comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, religion, race, sexual images in a public space, stalking, deliberate intimidation, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks and unwelcome sexual attention. Delegates asked to stop any such behaviour will be expected to cease immediately.
Contacts (in case of harassment)
If you are harassed, you see someone else being harassed, or you have any behavioural concerns at the conference, please let the organisers know (anyone in an Aira t-shirt).
You can also email conduct@mkgo.co.uk or text/call us on 07395411051 and we’ll respond to your complaint as soon as possible.
We will be more than happy to help, whether by contacting venue security, the police, by providing escorts or by doing anything else to make you feel safe during the conference. We’ll do everything we can to help and to respect your confidentiality.
