MKGO 2020: The Conference We’ve Always Wanted to Run

We at Aira are delighted to announce that in March 2020, our digital marketing conference MKGO will be run as a full-day event, with a very exciting list of speakers. We’ve run six MKGO events so far, always with a view to do something bigger. That time has arrived. I’ve previously written about why we run the conference, and now feels like the perfect time to take the next step.

We have nine industry-leading speakers who we’re really proud to have to appear at our first full-day conference. So without further ado, let’s introduce them...

The speakers

Rand Fishkin

A legit celebrity in the world of SEO (and facial hair), Rand co-founded Moz and Inbound.org, and more recently founded SparkToro. He is of course renowned for his SEO video series ‘Whiteboard Friday’, and is also an author and regular speaker at the industry’s top events.

Wil Reynolds

Wil launched Seer Interactive as a one-person search firm way back in 2002. It now employs more than 150 people, so he probably knows what he’s talking about. Wil is also known as an experienced, dynamic speaker, commonly about the future of SEO.

Shannon McGuirk

Shannon is Aira’s head of PR & content, where she uses traditional PR and the latest digital strategies to create content that engages audiences and earns links. Shannon speaks at digital marketing conferences worldwide.

Britney Muller

Britney is another engaging and insightful speaker, whose calendar is full of huge industry events, at which she educates people on technical SEO and data science. Britney is senior SEO scientist at Moz, so when it comes to data, you should be listening to what she has to say.

Areej AbuAli

For yet more technical SEO illumination, you won’t want to miss Areej’s talk. She is technical SEO manager at Zoopla, as well as the founder of the Women in Tech SEO community - a global support network.

Stephen Pavlovich

If you’re looking to improve your conversions then Stephen is the man to listen to. That’s because he’s CEO of the UK’s largest conversion optimisation agency, conversion.com

Samantha Noble

If paid advertising is your thing, make sure you hear what Samantha has to say. She is founder of Biddable Moments, a paid media consultancy agency, and she’s a frequent speaker on PPC-related topics at events around the world.

Phil Nottingham

Formerly of Distilled, Phil is a video strategist at Wistia, and a hugely popular speaker among anyone wanting to create engaging videos and use them as part of a marketing strategy.

Paddy Moogan

And finally Paddy, co-founder here at Aira, previously VP London at Distilled and author of The Link Building Book. Paddy has more than 15 years in the industry and speaks regularly at international and UK events.

The venue

For an event of this scale we needed to find a suitable venue, and after some serious deliberating we landed on Red Bull Racing’s newly-opened MK-7 event space.

It’s located at Red Bull Racing’s headquarters in Milton Keynes and has a 450 person capacity. And it’s pretty bloody cool!

MK-7 Decking

MK-7 FrontSee you there?

There’s a lot (really, a LOT) of planning to do before March and we’ll have more information to share soon, but we’re really excited about the next phase of MKGO and we hope you are too.
